2017 MEMBER SURVEY RESULTS

At Unity Bank we strive to provide excellent service and benefits to our members. To ensure we stay focused on our goal, every few years we source an external organisation to conduct and distribute surveys randomly across our membership base. We are very pleased to report that our bank has received an overall ‘excellent’ performance rating of 87%.      

We also achieved an extremely high service rating of 91% in this survey. These results clearly reflect the dedication and hard work of our staff, and the invaluable support of our loyal members. (78% of our members have been with our bank for over 10 years).   

We received an increase of respondents from our young members under 35, increasing from 4% in 2014 to 6% in 2017. These young members demonstrated that they have a strong preference for digital access and social media. Our younger members enjoy the engagement with our technological services. With over 6,000 members accessing our banking app.     

With the introduction of Apple pay, Samsung pay and Android pay, our members have been enjoying the freedom of making payments via their mobile devices. We have seen a high volume of members actively use these payment platforms for everyday use.          

With these exceptional responses from our surveyed members, it is clear that Unity Bank continues to provide outstanding benefits to our members. From these results there is a good case to think members would have no problems encouraging friends and family to become part of our bank.
